I thought the second gen DSM's with manual trannies had the 16g, but I could be wrong.

I'm still slightly amazed you picked up over 100hp from a stock motor with a turbo, especially on a 2 valve/cyl head. That's pretty awesome IMO.

      How much boost?

2nd Gen DSM's had the T25, which was smaller than the 14b. The 16G never came stock on any DSM.

I know the older JDM Evo's had 16g's stock.

No DSM had a 16G stock, and it's really worked over. Stock motor, 9 psi. I'll scan up the dyno graphs when I can find someone with a scanner
              3.1L \'88 Camaro - 16G @ 9.5psi
              222/291 @ wheels

              T61 on the way!

I find it hard to call a 2.8 stroked to 3.1 a "stock motor" by any means, regardless of the fact it really is just a 3.1.

Its as good as a stock 3.1. I have a scanner if you want to send the dyno sheets to me. I will of course send them back.

Isn't the TGP just a stock 3.1 + a turbo @ 7psi? It puts what like 205hp/210tq out. He claims ~255hp/334tq @ 9psi. I find it difficult to believe the motor is stock as 2 psi and a slightly larger turbo alone won't net a gain of 40 hp, and definitely won't gain 124 lb-ft.

You can't compare his setup to the TGP.

Well his Camaro has a RWD setup, the TGp has a FWD setup. On the TGP, the turbo mounts on top of the trannsmission, kind of behind the motor. In a Camaro, it can't mount there(firewall), so they typically mount them on the passenger side of the engine. Totally different setup, with different exhaust manifolds, downpipes, charge piping, intercooler setup, etc.
