  • So I dyno'd the turbo Camaro

    2.8L stroked to a 3.1L with a 16g, custom built turbo kit -

    222.4 rwhp
    291.2 rwtq

    Approx 255/334 @ flywheel.

    From 140/180 stock

I'm actually going to be building these as kits, starting sometime next week. Not sure if there are any RWD guys (Fbody) here or not -seems more FWD based Thought I'd share my fun with you guys tho!

That's not too bad, not too bad at all. I am impressed. Your torque is really high too. What else is done to it? Custom cam?

Fraid not. Stock 2.8, rebuild with a MTC-5 camshaft, and stroked to a 3.1. That's it. Down to the 130k miles stock dirty intake Stock manifolds, too!

              Also, the kits have a T61 or T70 optional - I'd really go with a T61 on that 3.4

Do you have the dyno chart? I'd like to see the whole picture, not just peak values at unknown rpms if possible. Nice torque though.

The DSM comes stock with a 14B. The 16G is a slightly bigger version of the turbo a lot of DSM guys go to for an upgrade.
