Well, I understood that much, but even as such, I can only see that making a 20-25% difference at best.

Difference in what? Power or the setup?
The setup is probably 95% different, the only think he could still use is the turbo itself and maybe a couple oil/water lines.
As for power, assuming the turbo goes on a stock 3.1 Camaro in a TGP like motor, it should be the same. The FWD will probably net more(Do to power loss), but as for crank hp, I see no reason for them to be any different(Also assuming the exhaust manifolds/charge piping are similiar in flow, shape, and lenth).

I agree with that, but it sounds like he only revved it to like 4000 rpm or something to have the tq shoot up that much then fall off so quickly for hp. Usually, better turbos add more to the topend power than the low end grunt. A dyno chart would tell all though. That and some information about the mods on the "stock" motor.

*laughes* Lots of discussing going on
Intercooler is dual Isuzu Impulse intercoolers, welded together. It's massive. That helps.
3" Mandrel exhaust, from the turbo back, and every pipe in the system is mandrel bent.
Turbo is a Big 16G wheel on a TD05H 8cm2 CNC ported exhaust housing.
And of course, 22pph injectors + tuning. The turbo runs out of efficiency around 4500rpm - from then on, it's only about 60% efficient.
I've got my friend scanning the dyno graphs - waiting on him to email them to me!
Also, keep in mind - the TGP had a T25. TINY. The 16G I've got is = T04B S3 trim. 36lbs/min airflow rate.3.1L \'88 Camaro - 16G @ 9.5psi
222/291 @ wheels
T61 on the way!

He did say he had a lot of tuning, it also may have been running race fuel...
I am interested in the setup though, any more details/pics?

You have too many toys, time to donate to those of us less fortunate. I rode a 04 R1 the other day, let's just say wow. Bike scared the shit outta me. It was so much faster than the RC51 I'm used to. That bike hit 120 before I even knew it. The speedo couldn't even keep up with how fast that bike was picking up MPH.

Sorry for the strang post. I didn't notice there was a second page when I posted my reply. My mistake.
I am in the process of building a turbo 3400 for my Fiero. Any tips would be welcome.

j/k
Doward, you get the dyno charts yet? If need be, I can host them for you if you don't have a place to put them.
