I was going to say those looke like cone's collectors. They are all I will buy for the near-equal length headers, most of the other companies' collectors look like mushrooms haha.
lol yeah, they seem to be well made, even my welder said "where did you get these? they are pretty nice".... plus, less welds=less cracking... i could have used or made custom mirge collectors but they are way more expencive and have more welds... Not to mention they are only 3.5" long... Very compact.

Yes that's the biggest thing I'm looking forward to. that and that I think I got my header cross over aligned properly this year! if not I gotta find a small v-band clamp for that... lol
2" v-band flanges w/ clamps showed up today.. now i just need the Collectors to show up. and yeah this is for the LQ1 3.4L DOHC....
Blackjack, any pics or a cardomain?
I'm sorry for not seeing that sooner, I thought by me posting in this thread it would automatically email me when more posts popped up. Here's a few pics of the headers specifically if that's what you were after.....
Nice! that is what i was looking for. To give everyone an update, my trans went out so the headers are on hold for a few till the trans is all good to go and pay the hefty bill... But i will have them tac'ed together and get pics soon, won't be final product but give you an idea.

I would like to see those headers after fully welded sincethose collectors will require a lot of fill, might even want to slice them between the meeting of the primaries and ping them closer to them for a cleaner weld.
They look great, very much like my 1st set of FWD headers, but I machined some flanges instead of the v-bands.
Ohh my i forgot how much of a pain in the ass it is to take out turbo kit!! i think im getting old, my knee hurts ans my body aches! but i tore it all apart, fit the header. LLLLLLIKE A GLOVE! now i need to copy it and then get the check book out and fab a new x-over and maybe a downpipe.
so much nicer then the Log
Fits with stock fans :}

Thank ya! im also anxious to see the rest completed... Ray did the cutting and welding. cost me beer and Taco bell like when he did your turbo kit
Its going to be 2" x-over into a Divided T4 flange... and eventually a twin scroll housing on my existing turbo. If i can make some quick $$ i will redo the downpipe but not planning on that $$ right now.

there is plenty of room in the rear. they are compact enough it should fit without a problem. they are not much taller then the stock manifolds, the rear will need to be shortened where the collector attaches so i have a little more room for the DP to snake threw. other then that the rear just flips over to the back like the stock log did. I built them on the bench, using a stock manifold for the flange alignment. i built them as compact as i could, if it didnt fit i was gunna start over and make them out of schedule 10 weld bends.
