Worth the money if you ask me, it's been great since I got it, drawers are tight in the winter but roll really nice now and I'm sure they will loosen up more overtime but the roller bearing are great compared to what I had.

Finally got my progressive nitrous controller in... It's also an RPM window switch and uses the ECU's TPS sensor to register WOT... No more stupid micro switch on the pedal!!!!!
New arm switch... also moved purge button to console... Need to make room for eventually using where I was for power window switch...
Off
On
This of course triggered re-wiring of many other items in the car... Yahoo....

Spent the weekend up at Epping for some racing... brought the camper and stayed over for free... would have been a bit better if we had planned more for the cold but oh well.
Playing with the GoPro
Aparently your not allowed to have a GoPro on your car at this track... Not sure what the deal is but it says no photo of video beyond a certain point in the staging lanes... I got away with it ONCE on the window... After that I just put it up on the sunroof gas when I was passed the NOGOPRO nazi.... I'll get those videos up to youtube later.
Times for the second day (sat slips are in the forester I believe)
Did some N/A pulls to try and sort out some fueling issues I was having... Still never got the launch right, would peak at 16-17 AFR shortly after leaving the line then drop to the 12/11's when the nitrous kicked in.

No, this car is run in full street trim minus the swap of the Hoosier DR's on the front. Rear tire/rims are what's on it normally, 225/45/17 Bridgestones. Car weight was 3220 at the time of these runs.
I drive the car in jack it up change the front tires, open the exhaust cutout and then tighten the suspension to stiff and run it.... then drive it home if all goes well
I'm contemplating changing my exhaust routing so I have the ability to install a hitch, I have a smaller trailer/camper that I could hook up and then I'd LOVE to do the Hotrod drag week run, that would be an experience... I wouldn't win anything since there are 10sec street class cars, BUT the experience would be cool.Last edited by 3400-95-Modified; 10-20-2014, 02:07 PM.

It's really not loosing because if it were a real race I actually lost... LOL But yes my car was faster than his. There were a few large CI v8's that I ran that I am sure they didn't expect me to keep up OR go faster than them.

Well she's all done for the season.. The previous trip to Epping I noticed the TCC lockup clutch was starting to slip... Now this happened within 1000 miles on Tyler's setup and it took mine about 2 years I guess. (time to give RevMax a call and get this fixed...) When the TCC is engaged and you ease in the gas it would slip about 200-300 RPM so that's just no good.
This last trip up there I noticed 2nd gear was shifting a bit harder than normal too so I just shrugged it off for now but upon futher inspection tonight that tcc clutch must have spread shit throughout the trans because I attempted to remove the valve that sits just behind the vacuum modulator and no dice, it wont move at all with a magnet so I know it must be stuck with something.
Depending on how this week goes I might get started and have the trans out soon so I can inspect the damage. I hope it's not too bad and didn't hurt anything else. Even if it did I have two 96 transmissions in my garage as spares.
Winter Project list
1. Fix trans
2. Make TOG headers fit
3. Build Direct Port setup
4. Weigh the benefits of swapping in a full 3500 with my heads and valve train, Might try DRTC again if I'm brave.
5. Fix AC leaks.
6. New rear poly bushings
7. Maybe swap in pre 94 subframes and use Del-Alum bushings.
Oh and lets not forget the Indy...
1. Rebuild Motor/trans and "make it my own"
2. Install rear external swaybar
3. Del-alum bushings.
4. TOG headers.
5. Whatever else I end up finding...
Somewhat bitter sweet last night... Started digging into the car and I was saddened that it's not even snowing yet but I won't hear it run till next year sometime. Oh well it will be better when that time comes.
I didn't note this before but I do have to say, I'm very happy with how much more consistent the car is. Progressive controller has made a HUGE difference. I mean its within 6 hundredths on all the runs I did... That's like something that I could actually enter into an event and maybe dial it in. That truly is my end goal, to one day be able to trust it to run a gamblers race or something similar to that. 12.5's would also be nice but I think I need to stop there especially since I'm keeping it full trim and whatnot.Last edited by 3400-95-Modified; 10-28-2014, 08:25 AM.

Just purchased the internal crank trigger for the 3500 so It's official I'm going full 3500... now I've been doing some research on Compression with that motor... anyone correct me if I'm way off on this one.
I will be measuring the CC's of the heads on the new engine I buy as well as what I pull off my current engine I'll do my current ones before and after getting them prepped for install. I really don't feel like porting another set of heads so I think this will be my third surfacing job on them... Not sure how much was taken off each time or even how I can measure it to see but I'll see what I can come up with for numbers on the CC's
Doing some quick math, and using the CR calculator if I get .051 cometic head gaskets then I'll get .041 quench which is ideal and similar to the 3400 vs the 3500's stock .05 quench, also that drops the gasket cylinder bore down to 3.74 vs 3.80 and If I leave the deck alone my CR comes up at 10.06:1 now if I measure my heads and find out that they are less than 32.4cc's and closer to 31cc's I could be in the realm of 10.25:1... Either way I believe I'm looking at ending up with 10:1 at the minimum.
