I want to know what the 90 block has to do with anything for the intake not fitting.
    Here I got a pic

If you were to put this intake on a block with extra ribbing in the lifter galley the sheild on the bottom would contact and not let the intake seat. This sheild covers the EGR passages which would be super hot during engine operation.

I know sometime in '90 at least VIN T block got the reinforcements on the outside of the block, plus the lifter valley reinforcements. Also the oil pump went from a smaller intake to a larger intake, with that changing the size and the curve of the oil pump pick up, thus also changing the the baffling of the oil pan. I know a '89 pan won't fit a '90+ with this bigger pickup tube.

I got this quote from GMPD's site in the performance section. I know most of the things in there have been addressed already, but oh well, I did a copy and paste, so :P

        Chevy 60-Degree V6
The Chevrolet 60-Degree V6 is a compact powerhouse. This innovative engine has beaten both the competition and the elements in off-road racing. It is a proven winner in sports car racing, and it has a promising future on America's oval tracks in the Midget classes. A Chevy V6/60-degree engine is the perfect power-plant for a high-tech street rod or an ultralight autocross machine. GM Performance Parts offers the basic building blocks for a high-performance V6/60-degree, including light alloy engine cases, high-compression pistons, and high-volume pumps.
Chevrolet's 60-degree V6 has been produced in two distinct versions. First generation V6/60-degrees have cast iron cylinder heads with inline valves; second generation engines have aluminum cylinder heads with splayed valves. First generation engines V6/60-degrees are produced for front-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive vehicles exclusively. Parts are interchangeable between the two versions except as noted in the part descriptions below.
Chevy V6/60-degree engines are available with 2.8-liter (173 cubic inch) and 3.1-liter (189ci) and 3.4-liter (207ci) displacements. 1985 and later V6/60-degree blocks have larger main bearings than pre-l985 engines; these late-model blocks are recommended for high-performance and competition applications. All Chevy V6/60-degree engines use metric fasteners exclusively.

I like the way it is layed out, looks really nice! One thing you might want to change for the 91 DOHC though, would be the auto cars were rated at 200 hp, and the manual cars were rated at 210. I don't remember what year it was, but eventually the oil cooler was dropped too. Both my 91, and 92 have it, so obviously it was dropped later, but then again, you might not be going that in depth. Hope this helps!

I just found out what I was thinking was true. 91-93 DOHC>oil cooler, 94-97>no oil cooler.

                      • Ok latest changes are up. I moved the Global V6 into a RWD heading since so far it is not in any FWD car. Plus if it ever does see FWD use things may differ so I figure I'd gve them different headings.

The main headings above each tree have been changed. You now have Pushrod FWD, Pushrod RWD, DOHC FWD and DOHC RWD.

Ok do you guys think I should add pics? I have quite a few on my comp so far and it may be helpful. What do you think?

                            • Nevermind I found it. It is mated to the 4T65E. Indicating it is still primarily a FWD vehicle.

Ok so I will add that to the tree

                              • Ok so I seperated the RWD and FWD Global engines. Even the RWD varient also powers an AWD platform. Lots of different HP numbers too.

On thing I would be nterested in is motor mounting and intake setup
