    IIRC, the logic of one of the shift solenoids is flipped in the 80 vs. the 60 series transmissions.
    In the 4L80E, both shift solenoids off defaults to 2nd gear while the same in the 4L60&65E defaults to 3rd gear. I think the transverse transmissions are the same.
