I think I will do that then. Is that 1.8 on the intake and 1.7 exhaust or the other way around?

All I had to do to get approved for these is to promise to replace her 95 escort with an 03 Saab 9-3 Turbo. Wonder if I will have to buy a house to get a turbo on my car. I am so jealous of her right now.

        • it's 1.8 intake, 1.7 exhaust. that's what Ben has recommended. others have said to leave the 1.6 on the exhaust. i find it hard to do that. it has something to do with thermodynamic efficiency. the exhaust needs to stay at a certain temp. more exhaust lift will lower the exhaust temps, thus losing power. though, i grew up with carburetors and distributors, so what rules applied then, seem to no longer be the rules of today. it's amazing what an LS1 455 can put out today!!!

                    • I have to admit, I am a little confused by some of the description.

And what is this pre-order pricing thing all about? $148.46???

I know I must of read this wrong, however if that IS the price per set, put me down to pre-pay for 4 sets.

EDIT: I just tried to order a set and it came up $299.00.

Still good, but I would appreciate some more info on this.

                      Thanx

                        • will the intake manifolds need to be machined like it did for the crane gold rockers??

                          • These are made to be bolt on ready to go. They will come with the pedestals. AND bolt. They of course from there will be non adjustable, unless you ca find an adapter stud that will work. NO grinding will be needed at all.

                            • With all due respect, THAT doesn't even come close to answering the questions I have, and I suppose others on these.

                              Pushrod requirements?

And this whole "what the hell ratio are they?" question.

I'm the first to admit I am an idiot with some of this, but DAMN IT, 'splain it in language your Grandpa can understand.

                              And I will buy them!

Don't quote me on this but their should be no need for different length pushrods.
