    There are a TON of people on here with Pontiacs... Grand Prixs and Grand Ams mainly. As far as making your car worth more, I would have to say no.

            GM would have to be completely retarded to drop Pontiac..

              I'm sad GM dropped the brand too but I think it was necessary. Pontiac has basically been the hand-me downs from Chevrolet for too long. And for a brand promising performance, it was a little too unfocused on that.

                I thought it was just rumors.. I haven't seen anything reported about it since December '08.

                    The offical word from GM is that they are going to try and sell Saturn to private investors, but if they can't get it done by 2011 they will kill off the brand. The same thing goes for Hummer and Saab. Pontiac is supposed to stay around but will only sell 2 or 3 models, those being the G8, the Solstice, and possibly the G6. The G8 ST has been axed, and the G3 (mercifully) won't be sold in the US. Pontiac is going to try to be the Porsche/BMW of America in that they will now be strictly higher end sports cars and sedans.
                    I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

                      No GTO? That sucks. I drool over the GTOs with the 6.0 in them.

                        Remember, grasshopper. The GTO was just a rebadged Holden COmmodore, and the new G8 is again the new version of the Holden Commodore. Rumor has it that lots of GTO owners are trading up to the new G8, so there should be plenty of GTOs for the picking.

                          I haven't kept up much on the modern stuff since I won't be able to afford anything any time soon. Pardon my ignorance, lol.

                            GTO = Holden Monaro = Coupe. G8 = Holden Commodore = Sedan.

                            As far as Pontiac goes... I had a 91 Grand Prix SE and now I have an 88 Fiero GT... my Pontiacs keep getting older... not newer.
