Speaking from a manufacturers point of view, with the limited 60V6 marketplace, it is hard to justify the investment in design, tooling and inventory of a new product. When you add in the economy being slow and people spending less on their toys, new products will be far between.MinusOne - 3100 - 4T60E

so far an aluminum pully with the wear issue:
when i did a timing chain on a 2.2, i got a steel sleeve and larger seal, so i would assume the same could be purchased for the 3400, if its not already the same as the 2.2 anyways.

The aluminum pulley's that did exist, had a steel sleeve pressed over the shaft already, and the seal was the same size as stock since the stock pulley is steel to begin with.
