      There are no "Issues" to speak of if the engine was operated as intended. Meaning with adequate oil supply. Tons of engines were designed with the same style oiling system and they never have a problem. Yes Gen III oiling is better because it is a priority main oiling system. But thats not to say it will be free of problems because of that fact. Just make sure your pump is good and you always have oil and you will be fine. If maximum effort is your goal then yes a priority main system will be a better foundation.
