As for the turbo questions, have to ask someone else. 22's might be a little small, depending on how much PSI you push. I think 24 or 28's would probably be better, but you'd have to ask someone else.
And why do you not have a MAP? Did you take it off? There should be one right in front of your coil packs on the intake manifold....sigpic New 2010 project (click image)

Ok , I'll see when my schedual clears up.
The TGP 22lbs injectors are good for about 240-260hp. Try early superchaged bonnie injectors. Think they were 29lbs. Pick and pull usualy has those SI SC engines littering the yard. Or even 35lb ford super coupe injectors. I currently have 24lbs blue tops from a 32v 4.6l lincon Mark. They supply enough for 280 hp.

newb here
Newb. I don't know how old this thread is or what but.. I am in the final stages of completeing a 3100 turbo setup. I had to make my own turbo exhaust manifol out of two 2" pipes(like a double barrel). One from the front exhaust and one from the back and joined together @ the double barrel and into the turbo. At this point I am putting in injectors from a SUPERCHARGED 3800 GTP(@36#). The non supercharged GP injectors will more than likely not be enough, as you asked earlier. And as for the MAF sensor put it before the turbo inlet. There is more air FLOW at the INTAKE side of the turbo than at the BOOST side. This will give your ecu more accurate readings for fuel delivery. I put my IAT sensor by the throttle body.(Waiting on injectors, I will have them tomorrow and will try them out tomorrow nite more than likely) I'm thinking I won't need a tuner...(being only 7 lbs. boost) I will find out for sure if I blow this bastard up though! But, A/F gauge will hopefully help me "manually" tune?(controlling boost and controlling fuel PSI, and fine tuning for optimum range or a lil' rich. DO NOT WANT TO RUN LEAN)... If this thread ain't old and you reply I will reply with updates and any further questions you have.... PEACE! dRU.....
p.s. go for the supercharged injectors, trust me...I got some used for $140. Not bad considering new ones cost over $300
p.p.s. Will provide my opinion on how much LBS/HR fuel to use with 7 lbs. boost...soon...or not to use.(hopefully I don't find that out)Last edited by dru_sever; 11-11-2008, 10:12 AM.

oh
Well, have you found a manifold? The last I checked, they don't make turbo manifolds for the 3100. And for you downpipe you're going to have to go "custom" there too. What kind of boost piping are you using? What parts are YOU using?
I am using the custom turbo off ebay. I had to literally "hand-make" it. NOTHING on it was bolt-on, like you are referring to. I would like to know what you think you are going to be able to just "bolt-on". Please let me know, that will also be some new info for me.
I am getting the injectors today, shouldn't take but an hour to get it back running. I will post later.... PEACE, dRU.....
p.s. How do you post PIX, and can you post VIDZ???

i plan on using all the tgp bolt ons.. exhaust manis, xover, turbo, downpipe, and get bigger injectors, and of course make it all fit and work on OBD2
And will be doing a FMIC so i have a full size radiatorRobert

hmmmm.
I guess the 3100 grand prix and the 3100 grand AM are not the same engine. MY GA 3100 has 6 injectors. I'm guessing that the 3100 GP engine has multiport injection. 2 injectors I think, RIGHT??! I don't know for sure but that's what I'm thinking. We have 2 totally different engines.... What kind of engine is in your GP?? PEACE! dRU.....
p.s. By TGP are you referring to TURBO GRAND PRIX?? If so, what year are you talking about??? I thought they were GTP, supercharged... or would it be SGP, or GP S/C... what is tgp?

TGPs were available from 89-91 IIRC. The turbo is too small for a 3100, but can be upgraded quite easily.-Brad-

in 1989 and 1990 pontiac came from the factory with a turbo on the grand prix.. it was a 3.1 turbo.. the 3100 is a 3.1 with updated heads and intakes... so all the 3.1 turbo parts will bolt onto it with ease and minor fab work.. (depending on the power range you want... To me just bolting on the turbo will give me the power i want i dont want to spend money on all the upgrades and just be braking things while time goes on.. just a pep in the step is good..
I have the 3100 just like yours..
in 91-96 the grand prix gtps were 3.4 DOHC all motor no forced induction.. 97+ gtps are supercharged..FTW
Theres a link that is blue display the upload form from photobucket to upload your pics to.. i would like to see what you got..Robert
