turbo 3400 dyno

yep, done here in town (extreme performance) im friends with dan the owner and kelly in appleton wisconsin. the motor is stock except springs, and light porting. it is pretty unstoppable from 40+ mph. anything under im smoking tires. my best track time is 12.7 at 118mph on 6psi on a really shitty tgp chip. im sure with the 10 psi, a good 60', i would break 11's. so do i have the highest horse on a basically stock 3400?

no question awesome, but how did u get such high hp and tq when the engine is basically stock(minus springs and light port) you said off 9-10lbs boost? esp since some of the other guys go there with major engine work and dont get as high #s? it is just a stock 3400 with a huge turbo? what type turbo did u use? and is there any exhaust to speak of or is it just straight downpipe from turbo?

i had a pretty good tune, basic bolt ons.. no a.c... its a 57 trim stage 3 wheels p-trim, nothin too special. im sure 12lbs of boost i could have touched maybe 390... but i dont trust the pistons.. exhaust is a 2.5'' turbo back with no cat, and a flowmaster super 40... there is a cutout where the cat. used to be. alcohol injection is needed if i wanted to run the stock pistons any longer at 12psi. pretty damn impressive out of a basically stock internaled 3400. my built 3500 will be a different story

yah def very impressive. im workin on mine in auto class in college, nothin special yet, but soon the 3599 top end swap and better cam, maybe some nitrous, i may even go for a turbo kit, like from forcedinduction.net, they have some descent stuff. who knows. i just got my dhp powrtuner in and cant wait to see what i can do with it.

props for all the work u did, very nice #s, maybe soon ill be able to run with u in a 4 door grocery getter gagt...lol

sweet, i made my turbo kit last year in my autoshop class in highschool.... right now im goin to UTI in chicago so i really dont have a place to work on my car. the engine im builing in my living room
