          I want a new body style sunfire/cavalier with a 3400....

My old stock white beretta, just cone filter last tank, going semi-baby 20.8 mpg all city.

When driving up to school/around school was getting 28ish mpg. But that was lead footing the 1 mile to school through 2 stop lights, and 80+ mph when going back to home during the weekends. Best mixed I got was 30 mpg with a/c, but going 70ish on the freeway. So i'm assuming with full freeway, going to speed limit I would have gotten closer to 33.

We'll see what the new 3400 5 speed does the next tank . Probably pretty bad :P. Stupid rice rockets everywhere... and cute girls... and me just being stupid...

Pink car, Heavily modified 3400 4t60e 3.42 ratio, 27mpg so far highway but that will change with my new converter... should drop. 15-12 city pounding on it

Red car, stock 3100, 3.06 ratio 2 1/2 exhaust, averages 26 mixed driving... all highway should be much better but havent checked yet.

LOL! I gotta fix the first "hot-rod" 60* I got :P. Stupid guy not remembering how he did anythin to his car... It's okay though I have one of the few 94+ 3400 5 speed berettas . Maybe the first with headers and exhaust? And soon to be the first one with 3500 UIM and our special TB combo Now if only I could get it to pass emissions so I wouldn't have to watch for cops so much...

                  Who's car is this??

First with headers on a 3.1 in a beretta was Norm...

Is this the car with the TOG headers on it? That was the first 3x00 with headers of sorts, But IIRC he never got it running right with the 5-speed.

And my beretta has a 3500 UIM and so does Issac... Whats this special TB?

And Emissions is SIMPLE... Mine passed with flying colors, and they even did a tailpipe test NOT a ecm check and I'm OBDII...

Yup thats the beretta Jon. It's running way rich and has a missfire. After he puts in some 3100 injectors then it should be good, if not then he should disconnect the AFR gauge and/or get a new O2 sensor. The TB is the LX5 TB that I looked into and found out to be just what I need. The parts are finally on their way to me. Looks like I'll be last to get the parts, but so far the 7? or so people that have these don't have them on yet... Maybe I can still beat everyone!! LOL Oh well I got the stuff going for everyone just wanted to be the first to demonstrate it!

I got 19.something this last time. Once again, stop and go city traffic. No way around all the stop signs and street lights. I can't go more than 1/4 mile at most before having to stop again. Maybe this weekend I will do some traveling and fill up before the tank is empty and see how the highway MPG is.

                        8.8 kilometers per 100 kilometers.

56 litre tank. Range, 56x8.8= 492.8 kilometers or, 306.2 miles to a 12.32 gallon tank. Had'er clocked today

Check the ICM, and high resolution crank position sensor. Also running 3400 injectors wont leave it rich, I ran 3400 ones for the longest time and never had a problem.

IIRC this is still OBDI.5... I think he should look into a OBDII swap and get that tunable, it would definitely help in the long run.

I can say I was the first with modified S&S headers put on a daily driver application successfully

Sorry, got lost in the other threads so I couldn't get back to ya . Yeah, has the TOG headers in it with the 3400. Has an intermittent miss and the gauge always goes lean after it misses. So first thing to check will be the injectors. Have some new 3100s laying around that i'll swap and hopefully do the 3500 UIM at the same time with the LX5 TB. Was hoping I could just copy Isaac's tb bracket modification, but looks like he wants a race . While i'm doing that i'll check to see if he put cheap plugs in it, either way will prolly throw some new ones in since i'm doing the injectors at my work anyways, not a long walk into parts to grab some plugs... After that's all done, throw it on the wheel dyno and see if the miss is still there, if it is, the gauge is getting un-plugged and i'll go from there.

The guy cut a lot of corners when doing the swap, but i've got nearly all of his problems worked out. All is left is the miss and wiring in some reverse lights

Going on a mission for 2 years so don't have time/patience for obd2 swap right now. Was looking into it in the past, but think when I come back i'll do a MS ECU because i'm going boost. 2 years of saying im going boost... but things always mess me up . So many boxes full of pretty parts...

So I can say I have the first 3X00 with re-worked T.O.G. headers used as a DD?

Still haven't figured out the fuel economy in it, but will after she's running good again

Did he ever use it as a DD tho? He did have a much more professional fix than me at least it looked that way on his cardomain site... I installed mine in a erect a garage tent thing over a 3 day period of it raining and the welder being downstairs in the house... pain in the ARSE to get it all right.

I just did a tank on ole pinky and it averaged 17.7, with main road and town driving, NOT city or highway so in the middle.

Thats with the new converter and punching it every once and a while
