installing the 3500 crank trigger wheel

just to make sure i understand this correctly, on my 3500 swap i will need the timing cover and dampener from a 00+ 3400 for the 24x ring/sensor then the external 7x sensor also, correct?

I think the 3500 cover has holes for the 24x sensor. 24x is only needed if your car is 94 or newer that uses the 24x stock.

so just the dampener needs to be swaped and the sensor installed? im going to be using a 98obd2 ecu on my swap.
