That hotel is pretty much ideal for location Contact rednblack if you are showing up and want a room. Sharing a room would be a good way to cut expenses.

I've never Auto Crossed. (But I am willing). Road Course? It's like Nascar without the other cars. How will the Cutty perform? It handles great..Just a Big Fat Assed W Body.

Are you guys sure there is an autocross on the 7th? Looking at the TireRack's motorsports website, they don't show an event for the 7th: http://www.tirerack.com/features/mot...ndar/index.jsp The South Bend Region SCCA has an event that day up in MI: http://www.sbrscca.org/solo/2005_points/index.html I know earlier this year they had an event scheduled for the Tire Rack, but it looks to me like maybe it got reschedueld, or maybe I am just looking in the wrong place.

It is looking more and more like I won't make it for the meet. I am supposed to spend the weekend with the girlfriend in Chicago, but I am now trying to talk her into coming down with me for the autocross on Sunday, since we will be fairly close (fingers crossed).

It's confirmed. I will be coming Friday and I may even bring 93RegalGS and his ultra rare Cutty along! I talked to someone at Tire Rack and they said there was an event on Sunday. Can't get much better information than from the horses mouth.

Just put a new PS pressure hose... barring any bigger complications with that old car, I'll be coming up late Friday. Leaving early to midday sunday though - gonna stop and spend the remainder of Sunday with a friend in OH.

you are gonna miss the track unless we go back saturday night. I posted another thread concerning what all we can do...should be a good time The tire rack has its own course out front. Its not huge but ive only watched people on it.

Do you have any details on what time they get started on Sunday? When the cutoff for registration and tech are? It looks like I will be driving down from Chicago Sunday morning, bringing my Camaro, since I don't have a trailer (or tow vehicle) for the X-11.

We will be there till dark, probably 8:30 or so when they shut it down. After that, we will probably all go out and get some much needed food. I suggest everyone coming to the track to eat something before you show. We may grill or go out to eat afterwards. Hopefully josh will post his cell number cause he is the go to guy for people showing up later than track time. We will most likely go back to the hotel though after the track, plenty of places to eat in that area.
