I'd laugh, but I've seen stranger stuff. (ie, big block pickup truck with concrete blocks hanging off the rear bumper - eventually they quit allowing that beast on track)

OK great, we will go to the autocross then on teh 7th. Im not doing that to my car though...id probably flip it or fly off the track due to less than adequate W body brakes Thanks for confirming the date and getting a price

You will want to get here during the day on friday, around 4 as the track closes once its gets dark out (pathetic, yes I know). Im not sure what hotel everyone wants to stay at, but im guessing the cheapest possible that doesn't suck. I gotta talk to jon a thon too and see what he has planned for that weekend.

I'm trying to get Friday off so I can get there late morning, early afternoon. I'd like to get most of my car stuuf out fo the way first so I can have some fun.
I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

At the autocross, no idea...i think its just something tirerack does.

My can't can't handle, so yeah, not worth 25 bucks to me to remind me how much my car can't handle:P

THe track is in oceola, ill have to look up an address. Normally we meet at the hotel so everyone can clear out the car for the track. Any ideas on where to stay?

I have no idea as to where to stay, being from Knox I'm not familiar with the area and what is around there.
I have been to a few events there, the Tire Rack lets local clubs use the track for autoxing. The Southbend Regional SCCA holds about three or four of their races there through out the summer along with one event at Grissom AFB.
Not sure of the address either but if you go here.........

you can find a map to the Tire Rack.....

I can do a motel. Better than showing up at the track. Cause then I will have to put my stuff in your car! :P

Just did a search, and it looks like the Super 8 in Mishawaka is the best deal. Someone want to investigate this further? I would, but I'm not planning this thing. http://www.res99.com/hotel/10011774-...436519d44471ps Edited: I just called and we can get a group rate for 2 Queen beds at $64.99 + tax per night. If we know how many are coming, and if people want to split rooms, that is pretty damn cheap.
