  • Making 700HP for cheap

I've got a 2.8 in a Celebrity and I want to make 700hp. I can afford to spend about $200. Would Lucas oil additives help? Should I get rid of my stock cam? Should I go 3/4 or full race with the cam? How about one of those Turbonator things for the air cleaner?

Does anyone know how I can get ahold of jcwhitney.com?

I PM'd one guy on this site about some of this stuff and he said something about "spoon feeding." Is a spoon feed some kind of new nitrous oxide system? Is it a carburetor or fuel injection? He didn't seem very nice.

You want to make 700hp on $200?

Buy a tank of nitrous. Start motor, open tank valve (plumbed into the intake)

    Make sure you record it

If you pour sand in your intake while its running, you will have a cheap porting job. I also recommend drinking draino, it will make you smarter.

This is a ghetto mod, but it really works....

                The Dirt Cheap Supercharger...

                Materials
                ----------------
                A roll of duct tape
                Some bailing wire
                A 5HP shop vac
A 750W DC to AC Converter
                4 large metal screws
                Some large diameter plastic hose

                Instructions
                -----------------

                - Remove the top of the shop vac.

                - Cut a hole in your hood that will allow the top of the vac to sit on the hood and screw it down with the metal screws.

                - Take the duct tape and the hose and attach the bottom side of the shop vac to the air intake plenum. This will be a little ugly and requre a lot of duct tape. You have to make it secure enough so that it will sit in the right place when the hood closes. It's tricky, but can be done with some duct tape precision.

                - Run the power cord through your firewall to the your power converter. Plug it in.

This should give you seven hundred HP easy! When you want to turn on the blower, just plug the converter into your cigarette lighter.

have Aaron make you some headers, the pinholes in the welds create a scavenging effect and you'll hit 700hp easy

I must have around 1200hp, since I have two sets of fuzzy dice!

I wonder, if I buy some of those magnet bullet holes, think that'd help some?
