i was born on the of december 15th, so just barely 87

i was supposed to be born way back in november, lol... as far as the drivetrain, hopefully it wont stay in place for long, we'll see.... im thinking either lsx or 660, mainly 660 for cost and ease of installation

oh and btw... tech 4 lol

My spring broke on my fiero, I was not about to lose my hand trying to fix it. I just taped it up and bought a hydraulic lift arm kit from fierostore. if it was a 5 speed it would be worth it, but a 87 hp duke mated to a 3 speed slushbox does not sound all that thrilling. it will get 30 mpg though......good gas saver!! Just don't expect to pass anyone in it!

wasn't to bad, looked at it tonight, paint is slightly faded in some spots but it runs!! lol... its slow as hell but i'll change that eventually, might go ahead and get a small t25 or something for a lil more power... i would assume it could handle 4-6psi until i can get something with a bit more power to put under the deck lid

in the end im getting it for $500 cash or maybe a trade if i can get him a set of 33x12.5x15 tires

prolly just let him use my pep boys discount, lol

I was born december 30th, thats just barley 87, lol

the tech-4 isnt a bad motor, certain years had throttle body issues but other than that there pretty good.

fealt like i was going full throttle to even move.... thinking its just a throttle adjustment that needs to be made

you think 4-6psi would be alright? im thinking i could do a non-intercooled setup for under $8-900 if i junkyard build it

just gotta find somewhere to do the work, kinda thinking halfway seriously about the turbo idea though, lol... btw, power steering rack will be a must, lol

Good luck with the power steering, they made a kit a long long time ago. Check your tire pressure....it helps believe me. The tech 4 is not bad, a quad 4 is a nice straight forward swap. If it only has 106k on it just drive it. Those tech 4's used to blow up when stock if yours has not by now you might have a good one, then again if you put the turbo on it you might blow those rods. The engine is not all that strong to begin with. Your dancing with the devil IMHO

i thought the Q4 required mounts and computer work to make it work?

this thing is slow..... as far as power steering, i will prolly swap a rack off another car if anything
