It is tinted on the side windows, and I think its as dark as he can have to get through inspection... And IIRC his rear window is not tinted for another reason.

the tips now sit back a couple inches. don't remember offhand but i think i tinted the little 1/4 windows awhile back since they were wicked easy to do.

Jon is correct the sides are tinted. already had one place bitch about the level so i told him to throw a meter on it and it came out at 38% (35% legal here)..that was a the place that was bitching about every little thing on the car so i went somewhere else. unless i'm going to swap windows every year (not going to happen) then this will have to do. already swap mufflers to a quieter one for sticker time.

got the 4 side windows 3 or 4yrs back at the junkyard. haven't been motivated to get the back one done

Well it looks nice.Yeah jersey doesn't care about tint anymore.Or if your car is safe for the roadways or not.They just fail you for emissions=)

thanks. it's not super dark but it works.

they don't test the older cars for emissions anymore here. as long as it's not a smoke show or falling apart you are good. OBD-II all they do is plug the thing in and that's it.

glad they did away with the emissions or else i would have had to find a place that did AWD testing for the subaru.

around here some places are better than others. last year i had one place basically tell me to put the stock exhaust back on or else.

CT cares, but they have no inspection, so really its only if the cop is mad...

michigan has no emissions, no safety and you can run any level of tint on any windows EXECEPT for the windshield and the driver and front passenger window.

I know in PA they will pull you over even if your out of state registered vehicle doesn't meet their tint law... BS if you ask me.

Yes my wife got pulled over in PA when she was driving my Pink car and they said its because my tint is too dark, it can only be 70% which is the level of your windshield.... AKA no tint at all, so apparently if they want to be a dick they can pull over ANYONE going through the state. Yes I know my Pink car isn't legal in CT but my Legacy would be and they would be able to pull me over in PA which is a crock if you ask me. If they had given me a ticket oh would I have fought it but he gave me a verbal warning and I think its because I questioned him saying why does my CT registered vehicle have to fit your PA specific registration laws since I'm only passing through.

This was at 9:20AM on a sunday too... Extremely suspicious time for some drug smuggling or mexican transporting... LMAO

We'll see how things go when I have to pass through again this year going out to Michigan for Bfest in June.

for a stock replacement muffler it doesn't sound bad... i'll see what i can do with the other muffler it will sound better..

Yeah i wanted to swap my muffler soon.I hate the drone of the flowmaster sometimes.I was thinking of a VT dynomax or magnaflow.
Jon if you think the cops suck in PA.Don't bother driving in new jersey.I had a jersey cop try and tell me he could give me a ticket for every window on my car that had tint.lol Talk about an asshole=)
