I changed my IAC and it no longer stalls. It still dives low and it has stalled once or twice, but I no longer have to worry about it, which is very nice.

I work at a gm dealership and i looked into the phantom stalling. it was actually reconized by gm and the problem is the fuel injectors. this is the part # for the new fuel injectors 25170699. this help deliver more fuel at low rpms and makes a richer mixture. hope this helps!

Wasn't there a fix with a new MEMCAL too? One with updated code? I know my 92 had the updated code for the 5 speeds (BCFA) before it was tuned by Ben. I think the 91 had the updated code for the autos (ASZU I think)before he tuned that car too, then the 5 speed went in that car, and before using the BCFA it was kind of a hybrid of the two for that car, lol. The 92 never stalled once untill the alt started going, and the FPR vacuum hose came off, lol.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

well i have the BCFA in my 5 speed and it still stalls all the time. and i guess that is is the injectors i was askin a few gm athourities and they said that it just doesnt give out enough fuel at low rpms and thats what the new injectors allow. but my car when hooked up to a machine says it runs rich too, and it has th BCFA chip in it too, so when i rebuild my engine im putting in these new injectors and seeing how they work.

Think I got it fixed everyone... Just took a custom chip. I'll be checking in as time progresses, so we'll see! But I am EXCITED! I took it for a spin, and while normally it would have stalled 3 times after it was nice and toasty, it didn't dip once. What a good feeling.Okay now, that's enough of that.

I know what you mean pocket_rocket. My son and I fixed his stalling problems on his 93 Lumina after replacing almost every sensor on the motor. The repair was the modified GM fuel injectors as described in the TSB. Car has been running great. It's a pricy fix but great to have a car running without stalling.93 Lumina Z34

From the sounds of it, it's more of a patch when you really need a whole new tire to me. Why not check around in the local junk yards for the newer style injectors?-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

There are two DOHC cars in one of the local yards here, and the white one has been there for a couple months now. The one is a 92 Z34, and the other is a Euro3.4.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.
