Pic upload problem

So when i upload a .gif image the site converts the file type to .jpg and displays it really small.. lol

Using Firefox 3.5.2

Attached is the .gif that the site converted.. Ideas?

stop making gif's... they suck. Well in some instances they do...

Wierd... Not sure why it did that. Email the original (bszopi at 60degreev6 dot com) and I'll try out a few things.

I usually open up pics that aren't .jpg in ms paint and then Save As .jpg
Sometimes the colors change slightly but it usually reduces the size of the file for uploading and you can have some control over the effect of changing formats while in the paint editor (or other editor of choice). My free website was picky like that too and putting everything into .jpg and making sure it was lowercase was the only way the pics would show up.

i use .gif for images that have only a few colors. It preserves the image. .jpg compression sucks.

Try PNG. It should preserve the image as good as a gif.
