Gonna go ahead and do this swap in the next few weeks.I have most of the info i need, but I was wondering two things. Will I need to use 3100 or 3400 valve cover gaskets? Im kinda thinking 3100 but i wasnt positive. Next question is can I use the fasteners from the 3100 or will I need the ones off the 3400?

Just to clarify. I have a 3100 in my 94 grand am. And Im going to be using the newer 3400 manifolds/tb. after I re-read things I wanst sure if it was clear or not.

Valve cover gaskets are the same. As far as the fasteners, they should also be the same, with the exception of the 3400 using less fasteners for the plenum. Just be sure to read the TSB (should be in the Pushrod Maintenance Area) one the updated torquing sequence for the lower manifold. And I'd also recommend making sure you either get the updated lower manifold gaskets with the metal inserts or the newer metal gaskets. That way you will ensure a leak-free install.-Brad-
