I need information on pushrods themselves. I know nothing about them excect they move the rocker. Are there aftermarket ones that my future setup might possibly benefit from? Or custom lengths.

RE: Aftermarket pushrods? 3400
Crane cams makes custom pushrods. You must use one of there pushrod measuring guages you buy from them. Then you take those measurements and send it to them along with some other info. You can go to there website and they explain it all. http://www.cranecams.com/index.php?s...s&type=special98 camaro swapping in lz9 th400 setup

RE: Aftermarket pushrods? 3400
If your looking for benefits from different lengths there are none other than IF the stock lengths are not optimum in terms of the geometery of the rocker location.
You can get a specific length pushrod in many types of material. Stock style or lightweight. This is the only benefit from getting a custom set made up would be to have them made of chrom-moly or titanium or whatever for lighter weight.
I've dealt with www.pushrods.net before for custom length 60v6's.Colin

You are planning on getting a cam regrind right? Plus these heads are gonna get decked. Stock pushrods are not going to work as well as custom length. Please get the right pushrods for the application, its the best way to go and the only way I would go.Ben
