it all depends on what your looking for? I bought the FFP underdrive pullie, and can feel the difference, but it's not like night and day difference. there are a few different copanys that sell them, just shop around. you might also look to see if any one is doing a group buy on any of the different pullies, you could knock off 5 or 10 bucks that way.
hope this info helps2002 Pontiac GrandAm GT1

UD pullies work and are one of the few mods that have a decent HP/$ ratio. It wont make you uber fast but the difference is defintaly noticable. Well worth the $100 or so.
I have an FFP myself.

I actually have an FFP one coming in the mail. Hopefully I can get it installed before winter. If I do, I will certainly post my opinions on it.11.92 @ 122 MPH 3400 91 Cavalier Z24 Intercooled S/C. -totalled-

I have been debating a pulley also. I have seen the before/after affect of the FFP pulley on a 3400, and I was impressed, but I am holding buying one for my car till i find out if hurts alternator output badly. I'm not sure how well the pulley and a good size audio system go together. any opinions?
That RSM racing pulley looks pretty sweet, but im not sure if it's worth the extra 60 bucks to shave some more weight.97 malibu 3100v6 auto

Well i tested my alt. output on my 3400, it really didn't make a difference on the out put on the srock pullie. about .15 volts. my main concern is that the water pump is driven off that pullie, and i do a lot of climbing with my car. but I daven't had any problem yeat. even though I'm still going to put a 180 t-stat in when I do my upper and lower P&P intake!2002 Pontiac GrandAm GT1

The RSM pulley, I believe, is the stock size... only lightened. I doubt there would be any gains from over 1HP, lol.

the FFP pulley is by far a better option the RSM is stock size just lighter, while the FFP is both lighter and smaller.
As for waterpump and alt issues. 40k on mine, no problems in everything from sitting in 90* weather in NJ traffic to pounding my system (albiet a small 400 watts) all night.

acually the RSM is either stock or 1in smaller. I contacted RSM to make sure! they don't say how much underdrive it really is. I was looking at the RSM but they don't have any Hp gain specks or longevity specks. plus it's 60 Bucks (+ shipping) more then the FFP shipped is!
Ps there is a topic about this earler this year look for RSM Verces FFP or something like that!2002 Pontiac GrandAm GT1

I have the FFP, and although I don't know about the gains since I installed it when I did my cam & topend swap, I think the car definately revs quicker. I think water pump output may be a problem if you like to run your car really cold, with my 160 t-stat, and a chip designed for a 160 t-stat (significantly lower fan turn-on points), my car normally runs right at the first line above 100 on my temperature gauge (I know it isn't accurate because that would be 130*) crusing around town or on the highway just driving normal, however if I go out on the back roads and abuse it a little, the gauge does not hesitate to jump up to over 160* (which is probably actually around 200*), and it didn't do this before the pulley. My alternator and everything else seems to work good though...I wish there was some sort of electric water pump I could get.
