anyone have detailed instructions on installing the TCE DRTC? I know about the crank machine work, but that's all the info I have... main thing I need to know is how to use the two depth gauges that came with the timing set.

I was a bit curious to what the other pieces were that came with it. Depth gauge sounds good. I forgot that I have to machine the crank.. Guess I won't just be pulling off the cover and swapping over to the DRTC :P.
You may or may not know 10 times what i do.

You have to turn down the snout on the crankshaft, and do some slight clearancing on the block behind the timing cover. I think you also have to ground down one of the oil galley plugs.

I forgot that you also have to do some slight clearancing on the backside of the timing cover itself.

One is supposed to be a depth gauge and the other is a straight edge that should lay flush against that and the gasket face of the timing cover when you mill out the inside of the cover... I think... I have to have them in my hand again to verify that, I'll check when I get home.

You can see where I clearanced this cover...

And the crank mod, Compare to yours to see the difference.

                  That's what it was!

I didn't think it made sense in my head for one to be a straight edge for the timing cover... lol
