  • help making 3.4 run 10s in the 1/8 cheap

hey guys i know there are a lot on people that ask the same question. Im looking to make a 95 camaro 3.4 with 135k run 10 sec in the 1/8 while staying street friendly. i know the small things like cut weight, gears, act. but I've been looking into a lot of threads saying you can add big hp gains by swapping heads, intake/rails, ect from other 60degree motors ? can i do this with a stock short block? what would be the best heads / intake to find? are the stock heads what limits this motor or the short intake runners?

sorry for all the questions just always wanted to turn a 3.4 up and I'm not very familiar with this motor.

    thanks, Dustyn

        Yeah but you need a 3500 LIM.You can't bolt 3500 heads to a 3400 LIM.
But either a 3500 or 3400 upper is ok

Prior to this year I did many mid 9's in the 1/8th. For this year I am seeing low 9's and dipping 8's. I went from a 3.1 to a 3500, both setups were/are hair dryer equipped.

All done in an old slow fwd Beretta using an auto.
Lifting my front wheels, one jack at a time.
