92 Corsica has aluminum heads.... Therefore the 3100 pistons would raise compression to that of a 3100, or 9.5:1.-Brad-

The Corsica has a gen2 aluminum head engine, so YES, the 3100 pistons can be used to raise the compression. I wouldn' use used pistons. You can get new ones for a reasonable price. If you do go with used ones, you must use the rods they come on, as it is hard to press the old ones off without damaging the pistons. The 3.1 and 3100 rods are the same, so this isn't an issue.
It depends on how high you want to go with the compression. Using the thinner iron head Camaro 3.1 headgasket will bump the compression ratio about 1/2 point. Using the 3.1 iron head pistons will take it up to around 12:1. Note: you CANNOT use the thinner headgasket AND the 3100 pistons, as clearance is too tight.
