  • 3500 3.5L (LX9) aftermarket

Does anyone know where I can find aftermarket parts for a 3500 3.5L LX9? CAI, throttle body spacers, headers etc? This would be for a 2005 Chevy Uplander.

No, this is not a joke haha

    WOT-Tech

That's Ben's, the guy that runs the site here, store, doesn't necessarily have anything specifically for the Uplander.

Since throttle body spacers are kind of useless unless you're turboing, just get a larger throttle body, ben has a couple in the store. CAI, you could probably just make a custom fenderwell intake, that will save you a bunch of money also.

The exhaust manifolds on the LX9 are basically shorty headers, i'm not sure if headers from a G6 or Malibu will fit in the Uplander due to different engine bays and chassis, my guess if you really wanted headers they would have to be completely custom.

In WOT-Tech you can find heads, ported upper and lower intake manifolds, throttle bodies, I believe the cams should also work on the LX9, since it's very similar to the LA1.

Hope this helps, those LX9's love boost, would be sweet to have a custom turboed van!

Thanks for the info! I won't be putting a turbo on this van since I have my rig to build up, but having a little more power would be awesome and not as lame as a stock minivan haha Thinking of dual exhaust somewhere down the line too. we'll have this van for a few years.

Nothing makes a 3500 feel more like a pig than that van... poor thing. Well... maybe that van with the VersaTrak system...
