  • silicone radiator hoses?

    im running an aluminum beretta radiator in my 98 z24 282/3500. my question is are there any companys that make a silicone rad hoses for the beretta. obx makes a set for the third gen cav and mite see if a set of 2.2 hoses might work but wanted th c if theres anything out there. i know i dont "need" them but couldnt hurt.

    The silicone hoses are not at all oil resistant so if you get some petroleum product on it and it will blow up or weaken badly where the oil was. i Would get some goodyear Heater hose. it may be black but it is very good hose. i have sold thousands of feet of it. reletively cheap compared to the gastly cost of silicone. one good thing about it is the extremely high heat range. but your coolant will never get to 375 degrees. 300 give or take 25 is the regular stuff. But if your that persistant, call greenline hose and fittings and they will help you out. you do have to give them the size and length you need. hope this helps.
