  • Decided to go mild and not wild.

Being that my 86 s10 only has 64k miles and is my daily driver, I decided to not make it a project but instead just do bolt ons.

Plans are as followed as far as the 2.8 goes.

4.3 throttle body with intake ported to match (match throttle body and heads)
    Heads ported to match intake
    Hedman Headers from LMC truck
    Dual Exhaust from LMC truck
If there is any cam that would be good for this app please tell me what you guys think.

I feel as this will make my 2.8 as peppy and powerful as I need it to be (I drive it a lot and want to improve on it but I bought my first love a 1985 Mustang GT project that me and my father are going to restore together).

I'd put a balance tube in the exhaust (also called an H-pipe or X-pipe).

If you ain't rock and roll, you must be driving a Honda

I have a edelbrock cam in my 3.4, I think it was meant for S10s. It has tons of down low power.
