Doing a 3500 swap instead

    I was going to build up two motors (3100 High Compression and a 3400/3500 hybrid High Compression). Needless to say I also went the way of the complete 3500, as I was able to get two low mileage 3500 engines dropped off at my house for $555.00. Low mileage = 9,000 on one and 26,000 on the other.

    Deals are out there, sometimes hard to find depending on what part of the country you live in. But over all the complete 3500 swap was a more economical choice than having a motor rebuilt.

    Edit: BTW I have a house too... the only problem is that they never build them with a big enough garage.

      Awesome thanks for the info! That's actually a good idea skipping the headers right now as it will make it easier to afford the cam that way, I'll just get the log style manifolds for it. I'm going to be picking up the engine soon, the biggest thing now will be getting the tuner for it.

        Yeah I'll definitely let you know. I'm hopefully getting the engine soon next week.
