Here is the Underhood fuse panel also where the air box will be.

Let me know how it's coming, I know it's a little rough at this point.

A W body is what kind of car? Sorry I dont' know but I dont' know which letters correspond to which car. I am dumb like that.

I have a harness from a 91 I think Beretta and I was going to use it to run a 3200. I was just going to use the computer from teh beretta and the harness. My only deal is the connector from the battery location on a stock fiero that is the only hang up for me. Its the splicing of those wires that I think I only need to do but not sure about it. Its been awhile since I have even looked at the connectors on my Beretta computer.

How did you tackle the prob?

W-body is a Grand Prix, Lumina, etc... But in 92, pretty much every car GM made used the 7727/7730 ECMs.

There is a firewall connector on these harnesses that runs between the engine harness and the rest of the car, it's actually pretty convenient. All you need is the pinouts for the firewall connector, and the pinouts for the two connectors in the fiero that matter for the engine swap. I can't remember the names of them, but one is under the center console, and has things like the ALDL wires and the shift light output, and the other is in one of two locations, it is either in the center of the firewall near the pass-through for the shift cables, or near the battery. All I did was cover the bench with manuals, removed the plugs from the two harnesses, and used plugs from the connectors as the ends for the new harness, just cut the old harness from the connector (one wire at a time, LOL) and spliced in the corresponding wire from the new harness. Once I finished that, I could simply plug in the new harness. I had to lengthen and shorten some wires to make it fit in the dimentions of the fiero, but it's all in there now. I just hope my heat shielding holds up to the front manifold!

I will. I have planned to paint the car silver with a light-shifting blue overlay, so that it will look silver, but will shift to blue at certain angles. The engine will get the same paint. I haven't decided yet which color to powdercoat the turbo piping. I'm going for the High Tech look over the Tuner Image, so it will be pretty dark with lots of clear covers to show things going on.
