From what I understand, AE Factor vs. AE Pulse is the amount of time the ECM commands extra fuel during an increase in TPS. First, is this correct. Second, can anyone decipher what numbers 1-8 mean? Thanks.

AE Sync Pulse Mult. vs. Delta TPS should be the amount of extra gas, and AE Factor should be how long that pulse lasts. i don't know 100%, but i'm fairly certain of this. ok, so the 1-3 is the off idle setting, correct? that is the tip in you are referring to? i still have that annoying off idle hesitation if i hit the gas a certain amount, at a certain speed. other wise my current settings feel pretty responsive. i added about 0.04 for AE Sync, and 0.2 for AE Factor. can you tell me if i have too much one, or not enough of the other? A guy on V6Z24 said that according to the code, the $A1 only uses only factor 8 once a certain level is reached. since you do the actual tuning Ben, i'd trust you before someone interpreting the code.
what i'm trying to figure out is...at what time does what AE factor become active? throttle tip in only 1-3 if slowly increasing TPS?Andy
