I have a 98 century with 3.1 with 120 k miles. The car was free, runs great but everything other than the engine and tranny is falling apart.I am getting ready to build a sandrail and am thinking "V6 sandcar". Can anybody tell me if I can get the power I would need out of this thing to make it worth the time and trouble?

its been done before, and with smaller motors too. a 160HP 3100 is a hell of a lot better than the 60HP or less volkswagen dune buggies that everyone does. as long as you keep everything together, it will be pretty easy. the hardest thing you'll have to do is make motor/tranny mounts.
