  • 3500 manifolds - will 3400's fit?

gathering parts for a fiero 3500 install, the 3500 im getting has the "header" style, but for what i want to do, i think the log style on the 3400's will work better, i dont know what cars to look for in the local yard for the 3500 log syles... will the 3400's work - are the 3500/3400 log styles diffrent at all?

-- does anyone have good pics of both to makesure im not crazy on this?

3400 will fit, but the ports are smaller. There are some late model 3400's that had large ports same as 3500 manifolds but log style. Like 2004 or 2005+ impala 3400. Some 3500's had logs too.

pick up 3400 manifolds from a 04+ equinox and the minivans with a 3500. they use the older log style manifolds. with the proper ports for a 3500

No, the bolt pattern is different.

stock 3400 manifolds fit a 3500 just fine. Port alignment is pretty good. Just make sure to use 3400 gaskets.
