"IMO i'd just build it with solid parts and not worry about your redline based on stroke.. other factors like port flow and cam profile are going to play a huge factor in how far it'll rev and/or make power. You'll also need to worry about cavitation in the cooling system and weather or not your oil pump can keep up at those RPM's."
Thats just to damn true. I agree with this guy 1000% These cylinder heads, no matter what everyone says about them, are probably the biggest bottle kneck on these engines. As much as we love the 60* for its simplicity and size, the heads will keep your revs down before any stroke or bore formula can predict. I should of said that first, but I like cubes, and even at a 3700, your only at 226CI... I to also like a squared up engine.
