Guys I've got to gloat, picked up a 95 3.4 complete engine with bell housing and flywheel for $300. Big deal? Engine has 10,ooo miles on it! The guy that had it is an older man with a small used auto sales and had stored the engine inside his shop since it was taken out of a wreck years ago.Yes I was skeptical too until I saw it,still has stickers on the block and other tell/tell signs. Had to drive 70 miles each way but was well worth it. This will be for my 3.4/3400 turbo project.

Got lucky, low mileage 3.4's are hard to find, guy just ran the add as "camaro engine" most people probably called thinking V8 as I did. When he said 3.4 I jumped on it.I plan to soak the cylinders down and turn it over by hand with plugs out.Good luck with your 3.1!
