  • Do I need interior harness for 3.4 swap?

    Hello,

I am removing the engine and trans. (3.4/4L60E) from a 1994 Camaro and am wondering if I need to remove the harness under the dash as well. This motor and trans are going into a Chevette.

    Thanks

    Hi there!

Strictly speaking, you don't need it but it's nice since you can get the ALDL connector, etc. that way, as well as a few connectors that make it easier to do the wiring.

The entire wiring harness on the L32 Camaro/Firebirds are intrical and must be used. I came up with a replacement a number of years ago that we market towards the MGB conversion with this engine. Great engine for a RWD conversion and the easiest engine to install in most RWD conversions.
