HI, Im new to the site, found it the other day hunting parts. Im currently working on a 95 beretta z26. Heres my questions, its a stock 3100, i picked the car up cheap and planned on using the body parts for my 91 gt. It had water in the oil (intake gaskets) and a slight knock, and some valve train noise. Well my wife wanted to keep the car, so, i tore it apart and the valve stems looked considerably worn, i figured that was the reason for the valve train noise. So, I put 01 3400 heads on, new push rods, and fresh gaskets. Heres the problems still got the valve train noise, and a slight lack of power. I used the 3100 lim and uim, i did a little porting them, everything fit perfect. Where can i put and temp sending unit? Other than the type of rockers, whats the big difference between the heads? What else can or should i do? Im thinking the cam is worn and will have to be replaced.
