First of all you cant mount an m90 on the 3400. I'm assuming your talking about the 3800 m90 like most people and it will not fit.

Second of all since it doesn't seem like you have one already where are you planning on getting an m62? As far as I know I am the only person around here who has an m62 for sale.

Put better valve springs in it and the problem saver intake gaskets, and you'll be golden at 14 - 15 psi with a good tune all day long. I've been doing this for something like 4 years now.

I am still thinking om making a M90 S/C 3400 in a RWD off -road vehicle, just by making a sheet metal (more like plate steel) upper intake manifold and just bolting the SC right to that.

i got a m62 off of a 93 buick car but i am looking at a other one and it's a m90 it depends on how much he wants for it i may get that one. and as for mounting it it will not sit on top like it does on the 3800 i know that it will not fit that way but a little bit of custom work goes a long way

the gen5 is more efficient than the previous m90 blower. Is an m62 big enough for a 3400?

yes and no, yes with supporting mods you can make 300fwhp with the m62, i made 281 on stock motor with fuel upgrades and w2a intercooler (gen4 m62 blower) but the hEatons max out on the 3400 at about 13-15psi, so it really depends on your power goals.......me personally....i ditched the hEaton for a whipple.....
