hey i desided to turn my car in to a darg car sence i can't sell it . right now it has a stock 3400 and a 5spd . but i want to build somthing N/A i already have anothe 3400 apart to rebuild but i was wondering if there was more power to be had from a 3500?
is there a big difference in the blocks ? besides the .080 bore difference
both blocks use the same cams i think so is the only benefit in the heads ? i will be getting alot of porting done to them so would 3500 heads relly be better still ? and can you use a 3400 uim on a 3500 lim if the 3500 heads are better ?

    thanks guys

3500 is much better base heads to start with. Or complete 3500. You've seen superdave's 3500 I'm sure, over 300 crank HP. Yes you can use 3500 UIM on 3500 LIM, but must use 3500 LIM on 3500 heads. But 3500 UIM is better. I'm running the 3500 UIM on my 3100

Or be the first to swap a 3900 built N/A in

ohhhh ! i would love to but can't figure out how to get rid of the vvt cam ? the motor will not fit a Z24 engine bay because it stick's out to far but if i coud some how make a reguler cam with the bigger journal's and use the 3400 timing cover it could work ! it is still a possiblity i guess
