Also.........I lloked on Summit and in the Clevite series they have the stock and then under sizes.....why would you use an undersized bearing?.
Ben, I looked on the ACL site and like what I saw as far as the design of their bearings.however..I didnt see an aplication for the 3.4?
If the journals are damaged and the crank has to be ground down, the journals will be a a smaller diameter. You will need to use a smaller diameter bearing then to get the proper clearance around the crank.

Yep. My crank is .010" undersize in the 3.4/3500.
The 3.4, 3.1, 3400, 3100, and 86-up 2.8's all use the same bearings.
