  • Roller Cam/2.8 heads

    I have a 3100 long block w/ 2.8 heads/ede intake. I adjusted the valves w/ 1/2 turn preload. Is this right?

    Yeah, that should be good.. I think 3/4 is recomended but Ive always went 1/2 instead, or somewere in between

      I agree. I use 5/8's as a rule because there is less damage done if they are loose (just a pain on MPFI to re-tighten them)

        Any hyd lifters I have dealt with take a little less preload when you are dealing with used lifters. New lifters is when you use book specs
