all depends on what you are doing with that motor...
if it isnt much of a hassle to ya i say do it... it deff wont hurt!
the 3x00 dont have a pent roof config in the head so im sure it will help to better aim the electrod. on my DOHC with the plug dead center at the top it really doesnt mater what way the tip faces

On a old wedge combustion chamber its worth the trouble but a heart, peanut, or "vortec" shaped chamber the gains are no where near as much as wedge, but it doesn't hurt to it. I would do it your not going to hurt anything and hell you might pick up something, horsepower or fuel mileage.68 El camino 454 speed muncie 3.90 posi 12 bolt,

not looking to gain .50 a lap
All things being equal and most of the cars in my division are "fairly" even, if you take the fact that there are better drivers than others and some can get more out of the same car than someone else. The cars are suppose to be STOCK, so
here is my thinking:
If I can do 5-10 little things that each will pick me up .10-.30 over the course of a 20 lap race, then the little things have suddenly added up to a big thing. I am not one to cheat and I am very leary about "bending" the rules so I am trying every little trick (secret) I can think of to give me a little more out of the car.
Thanks again.
