O.K. you've helped me get the lower end in line, heres a couple more questions:

    1. can i run a turbo stage 2 cam without a turbo for a period of time?

    2. does anybody sell turbo (complete) kits for these motors? It will be in a 01 gp?

I'm really looking forward to finishing this up for spring!!!
I ordered the weisco 9:1 pistons!

yeah, you can use the turbo cam with out a turbo. of course, the cam will make more of an impact when there is actually a turbo on the engine.

i dont know on the turbo kits....not likely. build one your self! its fun!

Any help on what turbos to look for and what turbos to stay away from would be great!

I have NO experience with turbos

Garret to4(x) series seem to do well on our motors, they are t3/t4 hybrids.
