  • HELP

Other than normal maintenance, new to engines and escpecially rebuilds. I have a 95 3.4 with 95,000 kms on it. As this engine is going into a 1960 Sunbeam Alpine, and planned to just naturally aspirate it, I am assuming I need new heads.

If so does anyone have a part/manufacturer?!?!
If so, is there anyone interested in a couple of heads?!
I have the part numbers for manifold (top/bottom) and carb, cam, lifters, but think now I need new heads?!?!

    Any help is very welcomed.

Why do you think you need new heads? The only thing available will be stock replacements, as there are no aftermarket heads for these engines.

Also, do you mean the DOHC 3.4 or the 3400?

I know its not the DOHC, and the 3400 didn't come out until 96, so its not that either. It is the 3.4SFI from a Camaro.

Yes, 3.4 SFI, 95 Camero. If I'm not using the injectors, do I leave them in?! or plug the holes?!?! Sorry for the uneducated question!

If you are going to ge to carb Edelbrock makes a manifold for the 2.8 that will fit the 3.4. They have one that is a stock replacement for a 2.8 so it is 2 barrel and they make a 4 barrel intake also.

yup, got all the part numbers and prices for the manifolds, cam, carb. Now I am not sure about changing the heads or not, as I am un-educated to what to do with the heads I have and the injectors that I won't use and the holes they leave if I take them out? Confused!!!

There are no holes in the heads for the injectors. The holes would be in the lower intake manifold.

EDIT: Here is a pic for you:
