    Okay..I'm getting my exhaust done this weekend..and sometime after I will be getting my intake done. I'll get the CAB intake and then I'll ask you step by step what I need for the Stage 4. Thanks man. you've been a big help.

      kyle from DS has had a few delivery problems lately and has also made it a point to treat a few of us malibu guys (or anyone else who questions him on g6 performance) like crap

      mpracing might be a better option for you as hes much more willing to worth with people to get what they want and he also typically ships faster than what kyle has been doing lately (some have waited over a month for a DS intake)

        for these "intakes" Sure it's easy to spend $100+ on a setup that's pre-fabbed.. but if you have any kind of fabrication skills (ie. you played with Legos as a kid) you should be able to pick up the pieces from certain ebay sellers and make your own setup.

        there are a few guys on there that sell just 3" polished pipes, mandrel aluminium bends, rubber 3" elbows and you can get filters for hella cheap on there as well.

        Currently i'm planning out a true CAI that's 3.5" diameter and similar to the Dr. Speed G6 intake (although will fit a 1991 Cavalier). total cost of materials is around $60 and will out-perform the Dr. Speed one by a large margin.
        Past Builds;
        1991 Z24, 3500/5 Spd. 275WHP/259WTQ 13.07@108 MPH
        1989 Camaro RS, ITB-3500/700R4. 263WHP/263WTQ 13.52@99.2 MPH
        Current Project;
        1972 Nova 12.73@105.7 MPH

          So do you think it would be better to go with the MP racing Intake and then buy the extra pieces to make it the equivalent of the Stage 4? Or should I try and go with the DS Intake and take the chance?

            from what ive seen and heard quality of mpr is much better than ds and it uses a much better filter that acts more like an air horn unlike the k&n, the couplers are also better quality aswell as the clamps from what ive seen

            the 3900 manfiolds, if nothing else, could prolly be extrude honed

              Alright man. Thanx I appreciate it

              As for the headers I'm assuming that I'd have to go to a machine shop to have this work done to open the headers up?
