3500 UIM Swap Questions

Hey guys I wanna swap on the 3500 upper back on to my 3500 but had a few questions im hoping can be answered.

1. Can I grind away enough material on the manifold to clear the fuel pressure regulator?

2. Will the EGR port line up with the EGR adapter plate for the 3400's from the store?

1) Probably. On the 3500 with 3400/3100 style fuel rails and 3500 UIM it's very close, but there are options. The store here has an adapter to turn your FPR, and I've heard of others turning it without it... Without doing that though you will grind through..

2) The EGR is just like the 2000+ plenums. Yes.
