1995 cutlass

i have a 95 cutlass with the 3.1 in it, 78,000 on the motor, 142,000 on the car.. my buddy and i have been going back and forth him with his carolla which he barley beats me at the test track, how do i up the ante a little bit without spending a whole lot, i want to have the last laugh of the summer...hopfully my uncle(owns junkyard) holds the motor for me i plan on swapping this winter 2003 gp supercharged 3800 car was spun around and stopped suddenly by a tree, motor has 22,000 on it i know im new here, any help would be appreaciated...he wont let me use my other car so i need help! thanks and have a great day

get a 56mm throttle body from any GM 3400 V6. Direct bolt on and might give you a little more edge.

use the junkyard and find yourself a nice turbo car. transplant a good turbo, (of course with a decent amound of fabrication) and you are way ahead of him... Or be cheap like me, buy the cheap nitrous kit, and spray away...

Fabricating everything for a turbo would still be easier than swapping a L67 (3800 sc). the L67 is a completely different style engine than you have now, just about nothing is interchangable with the car you have now

lol yea i know that its not gonna be easy, but for 100 bucks and having all the equipment i need, i wanna make a toy, right now this car is my beater in a way lol but i do understand what your saying, i thought about it quite a bit and almost decided exstensive mods and putting a small block in and making it rwd... but i sort of want a sleeper, i have my mustang but i want to best my stang in the 1/4..thats my goal next summer, this summer i just wanna finish this grudge match once and for all! hes got a few mods that i know of and some i dont, but its a snappy carolla

well im going to give it a full tune up..better plugs and wires, accel coils, the bigger throttle body, CAI, and see if i can smoke him completly...will take pics
